We provide an opportunity for hockey players (55+) to have fun and exercise in a safe environment. Goalies are assigned to games not teams and do not have to be 55 or older.
The LSH fee for the 2024-25 season is $570.00 payable by cheque or e-Transfer to payments@londonseniorhockey.ca. Please follow the Policies and Procedures.
The schedule starts in October and usually ends mid - April. Games start times range from 8:00 am to 12:45 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Occasionally a Friday game will be played on Thursday when the facility is needed by the Western Fair for Tournaments, and has always striven to maintain player costs at between $6 and $8 per game
Currently there is a long waiting list to join LSH. Your position on the list is determined by the date and time you submit the Registration Form below. If you were previously a player in LSH please indicate this under Experience/Ability section.
New members will be added based on the availability of a suitable position. The number of openings in any year depends on how many of the current players return/leave. When there is an opening you will be contacted about your placement. Openings usually occur near the end of August or early September. However, you may also be contacted during the season and offered a spot. In these instances, the fee is prorated.
It would be helpful if you honestly tell us what your previous hockey experience is. (Played or currently playing Old-timers, pick up, skill level etc.). Rough or dangerous play is not tolerated and we expect players to accept the league decisions. The Executive reserves the right to determine the appropriate division level of all players.
You are required to purchase 2 sets of jerseys and socks (home and away) with your name and choice of number. These can be purchased at Teamworks 418 Wharncliffe Road, 519-963-0771. Next Jersey order deadline is Sept. 30, 2024. It is advised you try on a sample jersey and socks for a correct fit.
You are not required to pay LSH until you have received confirmation of placement on a team, then you must pay your fees before your first game.
